Privacy Notice
What personal data Verity collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We sell compliance assurance, so this notice is written to the standard we assess our clients against. If anything here is unclear or looks wrong to you, tell us — that feedback is genuinely useful.
01Who we are
Verity is the AI governance and compliance advisory practice of SIDINFO Consultancy Private Limited, a company incorporated in India and registered in Hyderabad, Telangana (CIN: U72900TG2021PTC153040).
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), SIDINFO Consultancy Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this notice. Our contact address for data protection matters is hello@verityaigov.com.
02What this notice covers — and what it does not
This notice covers personal data we collect through this website.
It does not cover personal data we process inside a client engagement. When we assess a client's AI system, the client remains the Data Fiduciary for the data in that system and we act on their instructions under the engagement letter and mutual non-disclosure agreement. Those arrangements are governed separately, and our handling of client data is described in our Data Handling and Information Security Note, which we provide on request.
03What we collect and why
| Data | Why we collect it | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, organization, work email address — submitted through the discovery-call form | To reply to your enquiry, arrange a discovery call, and keep a record of who asked us for what | Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form |
| The content of any email you send us | To answer you | Your consent, given by contacting us |
| Standard server access logs kept by our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps | To keep the site available and secure, and to diagnose faults | Necessary for the legitimate operation of the service you requested |
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal data, patient data, clinical trial data, or anything confidential through this form. If you need to send us something confidential, ask us for a mutual non-disclosure agreement first.
04Cookies, analytics and third parties
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not profile visitors and we do not use your data for targeted advertising.
Two third parties are involved in the operation of this page:
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- [form service] receives and delivers discovery-call form submissions to us. Your name, organization and email pass through that service.
If you would rather not involve either, write to us directly at hello@verityaigov.com instead of using the form.
05How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become engagements: retained for the life of the engagement and afterwards for the period set out in the engagement letter, because professional and tax records must be kept.
- Server access logs: retained by our hosting provider under their standard retention period, typically a few weeks.
We delete personal data when the purpose it was collected for is served and no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
06Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We share it only with the service providers named in section 4, who process it on our instructions, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
07Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it.
- Correct or complete data that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Erase data we no longer need for the purpose you gave it for.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it — one email to the address below is enough, and we will act on it without asking you to justify the request. Withdrawal does not undo processing we carried out while the consent was live.
Email hello@verityaigov.com and we will respond within a reasonable period and in any event within the time the law allows.
08Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our grievance officer first:

If we do not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
09Changes to this notice
If we change this notice we will update the version number and effective date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
